Continuing the theme of “band-buds” comes our second release, the “Steel City Splitty” from Newcastle bands, Rat King and Lenin Lennon. After recording together in July 2011 with minimal gear and some lucky first takes in the gallery of Emma Soup, a regular venue for local and touring bands, the split was born.

Released January 2012. Pressed on yellow vinyl and limited to 100 copies.

‘Sydney to Newcastle’ band-buds Sweet Teeth and Bare Grillz spent a weekend together in March of 2011 in the garage of Newcastle slacker-punks The Nugs. The “Sweet Grillz” split is the result.
